Black Beauties

I’m so excited about these shoes, I can’t not talk about them! I can’t not wear them!! I promised in my disclaimer, that, “I will NOT talk about brands unless I am trying to prove a point.” So here is my story for lack of a better term. I have searched store to store for this type of shoe. Not hard to find, but hard to find for my feet! (I will not go into detail about my feet because I want to actually publish this post!)If you are interested in finding these shoes or something similar; email me and I will direct you to where to go! I purchased these “Black Beauties” for $170 off of the retail price!!!

Here is how I make a wise purchase:

  • I am patient. I do not purchase just to purchase. I research, I try on, and I make sure I can use the item with more than one outfit, on more than one occasion.

  • I have the money. You can’t imagine how many times I want an item and I can’t purchase it because the funds aren’t there. I’m a stay at home mom, building a business. We are blessed every single day, but we have to live in the reality of the day! I will not purchase something, ever, unless there is money to do so. Not every time will I buy cheaper, as you see here, but if I can skimp in places; I do. (Borrow when you can, thrift, use coupons, wait until the item is on sale.)

  • I research. I know exactly what I am looking for. This avoids those crazy splurges. I try things on, so I know they were absolutely perfect. In the case of the shoes, I knew I couldn’t find better!

  • I’m blessed. This happens often. However, in the case of the shoes – It was just by chance that I was in the store I was in. I was strolling through and I saw the shoes in my size. I saw the tag of the original price, and the discounted price. They are real leather! I knew they were a gift from heaven! Ha!

(Shoes were found and purchased at Saks off 5th avenue)
