Christmas Eve
Here we are!!! I am sorry this post is a month late but I could not pass up the opportunity to talk about my church or our Christmas Eve outfits! Do you even know me yet? Christmas Eve was wonderful! We attended our Church’s annual Christmas Eve candle light service! (Redeemer Church). I love my Church! It is a Gospel centered, people loving, generous Church! The service was beautiful- our friends and family look forward to this special service every year!
After the service it was on to my aunt’s house, where we reminisced with family. My cousin and her husband traveled home from Texas. Ah – My heart was so full!
This year I was trying to do a different spin on our Christmas Eve outfits. We have a Sunday Christmas service and a Christmas Eve service so, of course, that calls for two different outfits. I found Paxton’s little sweatshirt displaying the word “peace” and felt it was so appropriate for this beautiful season and for him – Pax means peace! I then based all of our outfits around this little man-bebe sweatshirt.
As you can see, all of the boys are wearing different colored polka dot shirts. I did not buy these shirts at the same time, I’ve accumulated them over the last couple of months. It makes me laugh, you like what you like right?
I changed up each look by adding layers or accessories. Paxton is wearing a navy shirt with white polka dots, adding the sweatshirt breaks it up a bit. I threw on jeans and little rain boots making it kiddish and cute!
Giacobi’s shirt is burgundy with white polka dots. I broke up the polka dots with suspenders. He didn’t want to wear a bow tie but that’s ok! You win some, you lose some. Dark denim jeans and navy rain boots completed his look! (It was really freezing.. poor kids!)
My babe just wore his perfect and plain. Josh is such a great sport! He is wearing a black and white polka dot shirt along with black jeans and black suede Chelsea boots.
My muted olive green skirt matched perfectly with Paxton’s sweatshirt. This skirt is actually a maxi and I hemmed it to be a midiaxi. I am loving the midi/midiaxi trend! It’s flattering to my body type. I added a simple white tee, heels, and, of course, statement jewelry.
I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and that you recovered faster than we did!
