Men’s Basics
I LOVE talking men’s fashion! Men are some of my easiest clients- find them a great pair of jeans and I’m done. BAM!! Today I want to share some basics with you straight from my husband’s closet. A big “thank you” to Alexis Reed for making these jeans skinnier, we love you! I am mixing and matching two simple shirts, two pairs of suede chelsea boots, with one pair of light washed jeans.
Every wardrobe, male and female, should include a crew neck. My husband has multiple crew necks, but this olive one is such a rich fall color; plus he wears it well! This shirt would look great with either boot option. One outfit – 2 different ways.
This black shirt is meant to be oversized, a little baggy and long in length. You can do the same thing as I wrote above. The olive crew neck + jeans + boot= two different outfits, two different ways. Because this shirt is so thin it is great for layering as the colder months approach. This brings me to my last outfit suggestion…
Combine it all! Layer the black long sleeve shirt under the olive crew neck. Layering in this way, with the lighter type material will not add bulk to your outfit. Add either boot and you have, yet again, 2 more outfits.
6 outfits with 5 items mixed and matched different ways…..Aaaaamazzzing!! To mix it up one more time, add a jacket! This will give you more outfit options and save you money!
