My Fall Favs
Tonight I am talking about “My Fall Favs” for this 2016 season. I wanted to show you simple products that I use weekly that don’t cost a lot and can transition into different seasons!
Hat: I had a hard time choosing just one hat for this post. A floppy hat is one of my favorites but doesn’t compliment Nikes. You will see me in a black slouchy hat more than once in the next few months- it keeps me warm while I look cool #momjoke. I went with the black baseball cap because it looks great with Nikes and can transition well to boots and even pumps if you do it right!
Jacket: Everyone needs a leather jacket! From glamming up jeans or pairing with a basic tee they are essential in my fall favs! I literally wear mine all the time. I have a pretty short torso so I chose a jacket that is slightly cropped. This allows me to layer easily and still gives the appearance that I have a waist. This season I am loving, the belted leather jacket. To me, it represents the definition of “biker” vibes.
Sneakers: These are my go to Nikes for the season. I am in and out with my boys all the time so sneakers have become practical for my wardrobe. It is so hard for me to narrow down my love to just one sneaker but the huarache won! They are so comfortable and go with everything I own. I have my eye on a few others at the moment, but you can never go wrong with white!
Black Pants: Black bottoms will forever be in my wardrobe. From leather to suede to denim, skirts, pants, harems- black is slimming, easy to dress up or down, and a favorite clothing color of mine! I found these high waist black jeggings on a trip to NYC. They aren’t the most rare find but I could not pass them up. High waisted has become one of my favorites for multiple reasons. They make me feel slimmer, they change up my outfit from having my shirt tucked in or out, they give me a longer torso, and when I sit down I don’t have to worry about flashing the world.
Makeup: My girl Stephanie comes through again for my life! I was already using the Nars foundation and she introduced me to the Nars concealer. She is also the reason I have and use any MAC products- from brushes to eye shadows. The Lip colors I have are; blankety (this is the one Pax got all over my white bedroom*) and crème de nude.
Chokers: Are these handmade chokers not absolutely perfect?! Alexis Reed made my entire season with these. I can’t get over how much I love them! They are a must on my fall favorites list. I love adding a choker to regular outfit just to edge it up a bit. I was like 3 in the 90’s so I love that I get to partake in the trends now. Prices starting at $5.00
