The Cathy

I am introducing to you, my Momma! She is the greatest woman to ever walk this earth!  I love her, I need her, I appreciate her and if I could I would have her raise my children because they deserve a mom like her! I am a huge believer in believing in people and my mom does that for ME!

My mother, Cathy,  just received a promotion at work and wanted to revamp her wardrobe. FINALLY she let me take her!! My one condition was that she had to actually try stores that I suggest and try on items that I select. She did! FYI, She behaved really well!

Below Cathy is featuring numerous outfits- the best part, they all can be mixed and matched giving so many different options!Burgundy is a hot color for fall. It looks so well with her hair color and skin tone. As you continue on notice how the shirt will compliment any of the pants pictured! (As well as jeans.)

This pencil skirt is an excellent purchase! This skirt can go with almost everything she purchased and everything she already owns. Because it is patterned it adds a little more to an outfit! You can also see the shirt and skirt combo looks excellent tucked in or out.

Another blouse and pencil skirt pairing. This beautiful cream blouse is known a pirate bow blouse. So feminine.

Wear it untied for a relaxed feminine look or what I would call business casual. This is also a great office to dinner look.
Next we transition to the pants. Keep in mind each blouse pictured goes with both pairs of pants! Black and Navy! I choose an ankle pant for Cath because she is shorter in the leg region. This elongates the leg, and when you elongate you give the illusion of lean!

Notice the shoes. We have a basic black, nude, and navy pump. (Not every wardrobe needs navy, but Cathy prefers navy to nude.) She has these stunning grey suede pumps that just add that little extra to a normal office outfit!

She did purchase a dress for the upcoming conferences. My advice to her was to switch shoes and jewelry or add a blazer each conference. Definitely repeat an outfit, but how fun to give it a different look every time!

The last outfit being show is my most favorite out of everything we choose! I begged her to put this coat on and she kept giving me this unsure look. The second she put it on she fell in love! The coat is a slimming cut and covers the rear. This continues to elongate! Because it is a collarless coat, it opens up the neck area! My mom is teeny in the face, neck and shoulders… we don’t want to conceal them!

As you can see here, there are multiple options without purchasing hundreds of pieces. Stick to the basics first. Start with black and navy. Make sure you have shoes for both color families. Then when it comes time for tops have at it!
