The Jumpsuit
If you know my wardrobe at all, or have been a client of mine; then you know how much I advocate for the jumpsuit. I literally wear them all year round! They are so comfortable.
One of my favorite things about a jumpsuit is they hide my flaws. I don’t have the best legs ever and a jumpsuit can be baggy in all the right places! Below is a jumpsuit that I wore in a more relaxed fashion. It is loose fitting so it doesn’t call too much attention to my legs! The waste ties so it still gives me a figure. I paired this suit with a hat and some strappy sandals.
This style is perfect if you are a curvy gal! If you are small on top but curvy on the bottom this is still a great fit for you! You could also opt for a tank top version- keeping attention toward your neck and shoulders.
Classic black can always be dressed up. Add a strappy heel or a closed toe pump and some chunky jewelry. Throw your hair up in a top knot bun and you are ready for a night out!
Keeping with classic black, I have a second jumpsuit I’ll be talking about. This jumpsuit is more fitted; however, the fabric is smooth allowing for clean lines and a fit that is just right.
If this jumpsuit was one size smaller it would hug in all the wrong places. If you are unsure about how it fits, try going to the next size. This is an easy fix! It is OK to buy the bigger size if it makes you look smaller!
Below is the same jumpsuit dressed a bit more casual.
Jumpsuit number three is the riskiest of them all. If worn incorrectly, I would look like a mechanic! I personally would never wear a flat shoe with this. The fabric is stiff and it is a little baggy. I chose a few different heel options to show you that the look can be changed.
To change this look I would choose different necklaces and change my purse/clutch. The best thing about a jumpsuit is that it is ONE purchase for an ENTIRE OUTFIT!
I didn’t forget about you thin all over girls!! You can get way with the more fitted jumpsuits. Make sure it has a clinched waste of some sort so that it will accent your figure!
