The Nude Bomber
Giving some date night outfit inspo tonight. Dating is probably one of my favorite hobbies and one of my best talents! From the very beginning of my and Josh’s relationship we have always set time aside for dating. You better believe that dates have become a part of our marriage. Even if we can’t go out we find a way to date at home; make dinner, have coffee on the porch, movie night, desert night. I am thankful for the time we get, whenever that may be, but my most favorite dates are actually going out. I love when we get dressed up and go to dinner! Sometimes we go to dinner in one place and then go have dessert and coffee in another. I am a better “me” with dates! (LOL)
Look at this bomber! My way of shopping is usually by the item. I save money and I get what I actually want. When I am in a store and I am browsing I end up impulse buying, overspending, buying something similar to what I already own, or all of the above!! I’ve learned to shop by items that I know will complete or compliment my wardrobe. When the bomber trend began, I really wanted the olive bomber; with my whole heart I wanted that bomber. You know, it’s the “hot item.” One I knew that in a month everyone would own. As winter wound down, I started to see the lighter fabric bombers coming in. I actually liked them a little better, but I didn’t want black. I kept imagining a salmon colored bomber and I had actually found a few, however, they didn’t seem worth my money. Then I saw the nude bomber from ZARA! It was the perfect color, the perfect fabric, the perfect style, the perfect detailing. I mean it all has to make “perfect” sense in order to complete the perfect outfit – right?!! It can transition from season to season, it is rare, and it wasn’t expensive at all.
Under the jacket is a ribbed bodycon (form fitting) midi dress from H&M. Under $15.00 and so versatile! In this look I added a caged heel and a chunky chain necklace. For a more casual date, such as the movies or ice cream, wear the dress alone with a cute pair of flat sandals or some converse sneakers.
