The Sunday Look

I went the entire winter never having a chance to wear my fur. So why not on a Sunday morning! Creating all the inspiration behind the Sunday Look. It is a little over the top, but I am over the top, so whatevs! Like everything in my closet I got a wild deal on this fur. Basically they paid me to take it. It is an actual mink coat, confirmed by a friend of mine who has sold fur for years. I apologize for all of the people I offend by wearing it- the coat found me.

I paired my fur coat with an all black look. A simple logline vest, perfect for all year round and totally helps make me look thinner. I wore a vintage tassel tied black pinstriped blouse tucked into structured knit leggings. The leggings are the same material as the long line vest. Sometimes too many different fabrics create bulk. Staying within the same color family and fabric type it gives a “uniform” vibe, like you are wearing a set of something. Super simple, very versatile – easy to mix and match as well as dress up or down, and so comfortable.

My purse is “the purse” I have been back and forth with, for over 6 months. Josh was so over me talking about it he almost banned me from ever getting it! I waited to make sure I really “needed” it and then it sold out… three separate times. FINALLY, everything was in stock, money was ready to be spent, and now this beautiful bag is in my possession. I absolutely love it. There is a reason it is called the “love bag.” Rebecca Minkoff is just so appropriate with her selection of purses. They are great quality and priced for real life. I am a huge fan of her work and I’m pretty sure I am on to the Regan satchel next!

I chose to go with the silver jumbo love bag.  This is not found on her site anymore, unless you get the smaller bag. If you wanted the silver you would have to purchase through Nordstrom or Sacks. She does have a Black and Gold hardware option that is found on the Rebecca Minkoff site. First timers get %15 off!
