The Valentine’s Post

Happy Valentine’s day friends! I am a lover of love everyday- I promise! It was so hard to not do the typical posts- date night outfits, gifts for him, gifts for her, gifts for kids, the little black dress, date night ideas, blaaahhh! Next year I might do it all!

This year, to be a little different and to keep up with the demands of life I am doing a few flash backs and adding some cute photos of my guys. With Valentine’s Day falling on a Tuesday, we aren’t celebrating until this weekend. I’ve got some fun posts ahead so just stay tuned! I had this whole elaborate plan to dress in our “Valentine’s outfits” for Sunday morning. Had a photographer on standby and a location ready to go. Sunday-Monday we had the worst snowstorm of the season. Wasn’t horrible, about 1.5 feet of snow, but I would be a horrible mom to make my kids stand in the middle of it. Not saying I wouldn’t, but my husband draws the line on “ideas” like that. So the outfits remain for another day. Thankfully I have a lot of white in my house, so I did an in house shoot in about 5 min. It isn’t what I envisioned, but its ok. Life will go on…Now for a little flash back just for fun! This is mine and Josh’s first valentines together! 2008This is our first married Valentine’s. I don’t understand how we always end up at Delmonico’s.

Josh is so sweet, every year he asks me to be his Valentine! This is my first Valentine’s as a momma. This was right after I had Giacobi.

This was Giacobi’s second Valentines! I wish I still had this sweater!  He is still such a character!! (Look at these filters… lol).

Whatever tonight brings for you, single or married, I pray it is filled with love and maybe some gifts!!
