The WOO Wedding

AHHH! Another wedding! If only there was a career in wedding attending… The “WOO” wedding was number six of the season. It was beautifully done. The entire wedding was in a field surrounded by trees and tiki torches that lit up the night. Edison bulbs were strung from white tents and around the dance floor. Milk glass and eucalyptus lined the tables and there was laughter and dancing all around. Food trucks provided the dinner and a donut buffet ended the night. The bride was absolutely stunning. (The picture we took is too ugly of me lol!) The joy on her face and knowing her dreams were coming true makes me cry writing this. The entire wedding was beautiful! Hipster. Rustic. Enchanted!

I needed to match the theme and feel of the wedding, duh. I was scoping a few different stores for the perfect dress and wasn’t even dreaming of this sea foam green color. The goal was to “woo” my guy, get it! I found this dress at Zara. It isn’t there any more and I can understand why! It’s so pretty! I can find some similar styles if you, the reader, are interested.

The details on the back were just as beautiful as the front! I opted to leave the bow untied to make everything look flowy. I wanted this dress to look big and hang on my body. Tying the bow would have cleaned it up too much…

I put Josh in a simple white button down shirt and khaki joggers. His joggers are American Rag. Joggers aren’t hard to find but the fit and quality are important. Josh has pretty skinny legs- they say the longer you are married you begin to morph, pray my legs would morph into his! Anyway, they didn’t fit him but they were 70% off and I knew I could tailor them to be skinnier. The fabric is great, it is thick so it can be worn into the winter months, they don’t wrinkle easily and they hold their shape after being washed and worn.
